The name “Eden” derives from my father’s profession within the flower trade and our shared interest in flowers and plants.

I studied visual communication design, focusing on moving image, at the Academy of Fine Arts Maastricht, and social anthropology at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London. For my studies in social anthropology and my work in the healthcare sector, I use my given name.
